Continuing Education Guidelines (APA)
The 2007 West Coast Healthcare Missions and Ministry Pre Conference and Conference will award as many as 10 CEUs for attendance at individual sessions at the Conference. One CEU will be awarded for attendance at each 1 hour session as presented in the brochure and the website.
Credit is awarded to registered participants that attend the sessions in their entirety. This is an issue of integrity that is the same as assumed by all continuing education attendees.

On this sheet, participant should provide clear contact information in order to receive the attendance certification. At the end of the session, participants will be asked to turn in the course evaluation and needs assessment questionnaires.
Certificates of attendance for the Pre Conference will be issued for full attendance and available at the end of the day.
Certificates of attendance for the Conference will be issued for session attendance as identified by the sign in sheet. They will be mailed shortly after the event.
Instructions for self-reporting CEs
Under new regulations in effect January 1, 2002, the California Board of Psychologists now recognizes courses offered by APA sponsors for continuing education credit. APA Sponsors include most national professional psychology societies and associations (including state psychological associations and APA Divisions) and a wide variety of commercial enterprises.
As an APA Approved Sponsor, Fuller Theological Seminary School of Psychology will not be reporting your units to the California Accrediting Agency under the new California Board of Psychologists guidelines. Instead, psychologists will now be required to self-report hours received from APA Sponsors to the Accrediting Agency so that they can be incorporated into a master educational record and reported to the Board of Psychology. There is a filing fee associated with this report but you can choose to report more than this seminar and the payment will be the same.
The MCEP Credit Reporting Form is available on the CA Board of Psychology website: http://www.calpsychlink.org/accrediting_agency/files/MCEP_Reporting_Form.pdf .
Your certificate will be proof, like a receipt, of the units you have received, and should be kept on file in case of an audit by the Board of Psychology. Additionally, the Board will be mailing a reporting form to all licensees, on a routine basis, about three months before your license expiration date.
The reporting form requires some base identifying information, copies of attendance certificates, and a report-filing fee. Instructions are at the bottom of the form and you should follow them closely. You can report multiple courses on one form; the fee is per report, not per course. If you are comfortable with maintaining your own interim records, you can file one report every two years (saving money on filing fees). Alternatively, you can file as frequently as you would like. When your report has been processed, the Accrediting Agency will mail you an updated copy of your educational record so you have written confirmation.
