Rick Donlon, MD
Rick Donlon has a degree in Chemistry from TCU and an MD from Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
After completing a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, he and three medical school classmates founded Christ Community Health Services (CCHS) in 1995.
CCHS now operates health centers in four of Memphis's most medically underserved neighborhoods, providing primary care for children and adults, obstetrics, and dental and pharmacy services.
In 2007 CCHS's twenty doctors and 10 nurse practitioners will provide 80,000 patient visits and deliver over 700 babies.
Over the last four years, CCHS has sent out physicians and nurse practitioners as long-term medical missionaries to Afghanistan, India, and Somalia.
Dr. Donlon also provides specialty care to patients with HIV/AIDS.
He and his wife, Laurie, have six children. They live and work in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis.
