Steve Flores

I grew up in East Los Angeles and currently live in the City of Norwalk. I currently work with two Community Clinics as a Director of Operations. I am responsible for the operations of Los Angeles Christian Health Centers in Los Angeles and Boyle Heights, along with six outreach sites in Watts, Los Angeles and East Los Angeles. These clinics exist to serve the poor, homeless, mentally ill and uninsured. I have been saved 13 years and I have spent the last 12 years working with the community. For seven years I was on our church staff as director of (FOCIS) a non-profit organization working directly with schools, juvenile courts, probation and parents implementing community programs geared towards helping at risk youth and in my spare time I also runs a non-profit organization named (F.A.C.T.) Families Assisting Children and Teens helping youth whose parents were killed by a violent crime or are incarcerated. I have had the opportunity to travel to England, Chile and many parts of Mexico as part of different youth crusades. Before working on our church staff I was a regional manager with SBC for 18 years. I spent 6 years in the United States Air Force. I love baseball and I am a diehard Los Angeles Dodger fan.
