Healthcare Missions Goes GLOCAL: Providing Global and Local Whole Person and Community Care

Steve Noeblette, M.Div.

Steve has been serving in ministry and community development since his days with Youth For Christ in the late ‘70s. He has been involved in church planting and leadership training and development in the U.S., U.K., Southern and Central Africa, India, and Central America. In 1993 Steve founded City Builders Youth Organization, a youth-based Christian CDA in urban Memphis. During his time as pastor of an urban church in Memphis, Steve gained notoriety as a church leader who was willing to think outside of the box in order to see Christ demonstrated to the growing number of unreached people who live in our own cities. In December this past year, Steve became the Executive Director of CCHF (Christian Community Health Fellowship). The focus of CCHF is promoting and supporting distinctively Christian healthcare to the underserved and poor in America. “There is no other group that has a greater level of trust than Christian health professionals. And there is no greater field of need or opportunity than among the underserved. Christian healthcare to the poor is a major key in helping the church to break out of its bubble and reconnect with the world with the message of Christ and His Kingdom.” Steve and his wife, Victoria, live in Memphis. They have two grown daughters and a foster-son.
