Objectives: 1) Building on last year’s presentation, present an overview of the healthcare situation in Los Angeles, specifically among the urban poor. (i.e. stats, trends, policies, etc.) 2) Identify the Christian communities’ response to the issue: non-profits, churches, collaborative initiatives, Christian’s in “secular” contexts, etc. 3) Chart a course of next steps for LA’s Christian Health professionals.
