Rev. Tim Goddu
Rev. Tim Goddu, World Impact Missionary; BS Finance, Notre Dame University, 1976; ordained minister. Wife is Janet; we have four children: Karla, age 24, Stephanie, age 21, Aaron age 17 and Alyssa, age 14.
Janet and I have ministered with World Impact for more than 31years. We joined World Impact in June 1977 in Newark, NJ. For eighteen years we lived in the West Ward of Newark and witnessed the work expand, under the Holy Spirit's guidance, to include Bible clubs for youth and teenagers, adult studies, the establishment of the Newark Christian School, Celebration Church (a World Impact church plant), a job-training program and a housing redevelopment program.
I served as Newark Director and Regional Director for World Impact's east coast ministries before relocating to Los Angeles in 1995. Currently my role is Vice President and Director for the Los Angeles ministry, overseeing 45 World Impact missionaries involved in facilitating a church-plant movement in Los Angeles through evangelizing, equipping and empowering the unchurched, urban poor.
