Todd Grant, D. Min.

Todd grew up in Columbus, Ohio where early on in his life he felt God's calling to pursue the full-time ministry. While attending Asbury College in Wilmore Kentucky, Todd began to pastor a small rural church in Southern Ohio, traveling back and forth on the weekends. At that time, he also met his future wife, Jennifer Joy Anderson, while attending a campus missions organization called World Gospel Mission. Upon Jennifer's graduation in 1991, Todd and Jennifer were married. For the next two years Todd attended Asbury Seminary and Jennifer taught 6th grade at a Christian School in Lexington, Kentucky. After graduating from Seminary, Todd and Jenny moved to Ansonia, OH where Todd served as a full time pastor and Jennifer taught as a Pre-School Special Needs Teacher. After serving for 3 years in Ansonia, Todd and Jennifer returned to Wilmore where Todd completed a Doctorate in Ministry and their first child, Joshua was born. Todd then served as a pastor on staff at a church in Reynoldsburg, OH.
In 1998, Todd and Jenny moved to Tucson, Arizona, where they planted a new church called Celebration Community Church. During their 6 years there, their 3 other children (Grace, Faith and Josiah) were born. While in Tucson, Todd and Jenny felt God calling them to come to Los Angeles, California to plant an inner city church. They moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and Todd served on staff at Lyn-Gate Neighborhood Church in Lynwood while they prayed and sought God's leading about where to plant a new church. Through the outreach of a visiting youth group from New Mexico, Todd began ministering once a week to the children at the Watts community center. Also during this time, they connected with World Impact and a partnership was formed to plant churches in Watts. They are greatly enjoying the ministry and are tremendously grateful for the many beautiful children, youth, and adults who are now attending the Sunday morning Bible Study at the World Impact Christian School in Watts.
